I have been patiently awaiting for the arrival of my Cheetoh kitten. If you are not familiar with the breed, take a look at my Cheetoh breed post. We have reserved our future cat from the actual founder of the breed from Windhaven Exotics. We will make the drive to Arizona to pick him up from the ranch when he is 12 weeks old. That means I have to wait until mid August, which is just in time for my birthday!
The jury is still out on the purrfect name for our little boy. I am leaning towards Chester or Vito. My husband suggests “Sir Puddeddin.” He is just as silly as me. This is a play on puddytat from Sylvester and Tweety (“I thought i taw a puddy tat”) mixed with a Paladin (a class of warrior that is fully devoted to kindness and ridding the universe of evil popular in many modern video games). Plus it has the added bonus of being another fun word to say. Needless to say, we have a ridiculous language around the house. Let me know if y’all have any fun name ideas in the comments below.
Cheetos are created from an Ocicat and a Bengal. Our guy is a first generation cross F1. This is the ocicat mother Midnight Lace nursing him and his other brothers and sisters. She has great contrast, color and structure.
The bengal father is Diamondback Samurai. He has gorgeous rosettes and wild stripes.
The following photos are the progression of Sir Puddeddin?’s growth:
These are at 1 week old and as big as the breeder’s hand! That is very big for a kitten this age. He was born on May 11, 2017.
The next batch is at about a month old on June 15, 2017.
The latest update is from July 21, 2017. He still has his baby fuzz 🙂
